Join us for this 72 mile ride, crabcakes and beer.

Crabcakes and Beers, aka the Annapolis-Baltimore-Annapolis ride, is a fun easy ride for bikers of all levels. Riders have 3 choices for the starting point: Alfredo’s house in Mt. Washington at 8 AM (2307 Crest Road 21209, 72-mile ride roundtrip) Woodberry at 8:15 AM (next to the light rail/bus stop, 65 miles), or Lindale Middle School at 10 AM (415 Andover Rd, Linthicum Heights, MD 21090, 43miles ride). Please text (410 963 4660) or email (minazorro@yahoo.com) Alfredo with your starting point, especially if you are starting in Mt. Washington or Woodberry.  Here are some further highlights of the ride:

The crabcakes and beer, Baltimore to Annapolis to Baltimore ride is a great way to get ready for The ride for the feast. It starts in the verdant neighborhood of Mt. Washington, and it makes a first stop in trendy Woodberry, reached through the Jones Falls trail. From there, it heads to downtown Baltimore through Falls Road and then the Maryland Ave bike lane. From there, it goes through Pigtown, onto Washington Boulevard, and then through Hollins Ferry Road, Hammond Ferry Road, it reaches our second stop on the way, Lindale MS. After picking up additional rides, we will head to the BWI trail, and from there to the Baltimore Annapolis trail. A brief stretch on route MD450 will take us across the Naval Academy Bridge, a great spot for selfies, and let Mom know you made it to Annapolis. We will then orderly head to the waterfront and identify an appropriate establishment for consuming a simple lunch (remember your lunch money!), traditionally made of crabcakes and beers hence the ride’s name. Of course, riders can pick the food of their choice. After the meal, bantering, restroom visits, and, of course, more selfies, we will start heading back to Baltimore. It is expected that arrival in Annapolis will be around noon or so., return to Lindale MS by 4 PM, Baltimore Woodberry by 5:40 PM, and Baltimore Mt Washington by 6 PM.
