Give In Honor or Memory of Someone Special
Remember someone special or celebrate a loved one’s birthday, wedding, or anniversary with a gift to Moveable Feast. Moveable Feast will send a note notifying the appropriate person of your gift. The amount of your gift will not be included.
With thoughtful planning now, you can make a difference for Marylanders in need beyond your lifetime and contribute to the long-term financial strength of Moveable Feast. There are many options, including naming Moveable Feast as a beneficiary in your will, retirement plan, or life insurance policy.
Workplace Giving allows you to make gifts through payroll contributions. With recurring gifts taken out of each paycheck, you can spread your total donation out over the year, making it possible for you to give more than you might be able to at one time.

Gift of Stock
A stock portfolio can be a valuable asset—one that may carry a substantial capital gain. With careful planning, you may be able to reduce your federal capital gains taxes by donating appreciated stock and securities directly to Moveable Feast.
Provide your broker with the following information:

Please give your broker permission to release your name and contact information to Moveable Feast so that we may acknowledge you properly. Without your name, we will have no way of knowing where this generous gift came from. (If you wish to be marked as an anonymous donor you or your broker may make this request.)
Your broker should notify Moveable Feast of the expected stock gift by calling 410-327-3420 or emailing the Community Engagement Team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Upon receipt of the stock transfer, PNC Investments will send a confirmation to Moveable Feast confirming the gift date.
Moveable Feast will send you an acknowledgment letter based on the information provided by PNC Investments, which will include share prices on the date of liquidation used to value the gift.
Donor Advised Funds
What are Donor Advised Funds?
Donor Advised Funds (DAF) is a charitable giving program that allows you to combine the most favorable tax benefits with the flexibility to support your favorite causes. DAF is like a charitable savings account; you transfer cash or other assets to a tax-exempt sponsoring organization such as a public foundation. You can then recommend—but not direct—how much and how often money is granted to Moveable Feast or other charities.
