Ride for the Feast Training Ride – Saturday, September 19th

Come enjoy the last weekend of summer with your Ride for the Feast friends! This casual, no-drop, supported group ride from Baltimore to Annapolis and back has multiple starting points and offers rides from 30 to72 miles (depending on your chosen start and return points) along the Baltimore-Annapolis Trail (and other roads) and includes a group lunch (you’ll need to buy your own lunch).

Snacks, drinks and some giveaway items will be available at the Lindale Middle School start and at the Baltimore and Annapolis Trail Ranger Station pit stop in the morning.

The Ride:

Start Point 1: 2307 Crest Road, Baltimore. There is parking on Crest Rd, or there are a few parking spots in the back (take the alley from Oakshire Rd until you see a white garage with the number “2307”. An air pump and some basic tools will be available. Meeting time: 7:45AM. Rideout time: 8:00 AM.

Start Point 2: Woodberry Light Rail station (3465 Seneca St, Baltimore, MD 21211). Meeting time: 8:20AM. Rideout time: 8:25 AM

Start Point 3 (Pit Stop with snacks/drinks): Lindale Middle School (415 Andover Rd Linthicum Heights) Parking is available at the school. Meeting time: 9:50 AM. Rideout time: 10:05 AM

Baltimore and Annapolis Trail Ranger Station (Pit Stop with snacks/drinks): (51 W Earleigh Heights Rd, Severna Park, MD 21146) Meeting time: 11:00 AM. Rideout time: 11:15 AM.

Navel Bagel – Turn around point for 30-mile route (If you started at Lindale Middle School) (1460 Ritchie Hwy #112, Arnold, MD 21012)

Baltimore-Annapolis Trail end (Arnold, MD 21012). We will regroup here at about 12:00 PM.
 
Arrival at Annapolis waterfront: 12:20 PM- Search for an appropriate place for lunch

After lunch we’ll head back north to Baltimore along the same route.

12:20-1:30 PM lunch
1:30 PM rideout heading back.
2:00 PM end of the trail
2:40 PM ranger station. 3:10 PM rideout
4:10 PM Lindale MS 4:20 PM Rideout
5:30 PM Woodberry Light Rail Station
6:00 PM 2307 Crest Road

Lindale MS to Ranger station: ~ 16k (~10 miles)
Ranger station to head of the B&A Trail: ~11k (7 miles)
Head of the B&A trail to Annapolis waterfront: ~5.5 k (~3.5 miles)
