Recently, Moveable Feast was notified that our Ryan White federal grant award has been delayed. Unfortunately, this will impact clients whose services are supported through a Ryan White federal grant for the next 3-4 months.

Here’s what to know:

• Starting June 9th, each client whose weekly meal deliveries are supported through the Ryan White federal grant will receive a weekly delivery containing 6 meals, reduced from 10 or 12, plus produce.
• We will be instituting a waitlist for new referrals for people eligible to receive services through Ryan White funds beginning June 1st, 2025. Our general waitlist is closed and will remain closed until further notice.
• Our Medical Transportation services funded through Ryan White will continue through July 31st, 2025. Beginning August 1st, 2025, medical transportation services will not operate until additional funding is received.
• Appointments with our Registered Dietitians (RDNs) will continue to operate as usual.
• Volunteer services, including morning and afternoon kitchen shifts as well as help with deliveries, will continue as usual.

This is a difficult time for all clients receiving services funded through Ryan White federal grants. Clients are being notified by flyer with delivery and robocall to phone numbers on file. Please know we are working hard to identify alternative funding sources to continue supporting these critical services.
