Home Delivered Meals

For our clients Food is Medicine. By eating right, our clients can strengthen their bodies and better fight their diseases. So we make sure they get the best meals possible delivered right to their doorstep at no cost. Dietitians on staff work hard to develop nutritious menus, tailored to 7 different diets in order to meet clients’ health needs (for example; renal, diabetic, no seafood, etc.). We make every meal in our kitchen at N. Milton Avenue and partner with local farms and gardens whenever possible.

Our staff and volunteer drivers deliver meals to clients in Baltimore City and 14 Maryland counties some as many as 140 miles away from our N. Milton Avenue kitchen.

Illnesses we serve

Through the Home-Delivered Meals Program, we provide clients with a weekly delivery
containing:

  • 12 frozen, medically-tailored entrees
  • A bag with approximately 5 servings of fresh fruits and/or vegetables
  • Additional meals and grocery items when there are dependents living in the home
  • A friendly visit to let often-isolated individuals know that they matter and that we care

(Note: during the COVID-19 pandemic, Moveable Feast has shifted to contactless deliveries.)

How to receive Moveable Feast meals:

All clients must be referred by their primary care provider. To refer a client, please contact Teyana Johnson, Client Services Manager.
