This week on Spotlight On Maryland, Gina Crash spoke with Sue Elias, the new Executive Director of Moveable Feast. Moveable Feast delivers healthy food to Marylanders living with HIV/AIDS, cancer and other illnesses. Their motto is: FEED people, FIGHT disease and FOSTER hope.
They talked about how the organization has been impacted by COVID-19, like how their signature “Dining Out For Life” fundraiser is now “Take Out Thursday.” Now thru September 17th, grab a meal to go to help them reach their goal of $100,000. Go to mfest.org/DiningOutForLife for a list of participating restaurants. Join them August 20th for their next #TakeOutThursday Facebook Live streaming event.
