Celebrating its 27th year, Dining Out for Life is an annual fundraising event for Moveable Feast where restaurants contribute a portion of proceeds to our organization. Due to COVID-19, this year’s event is a bit different. The restaurant community has taken a huge hit financially, and we want to highlight them as they have supported our mission for many years. Our restaurant partners have fantastic menu items, so please check out what they’re currently offering and choose to DINE OUT or TAKE OUT starting now!

Check out the schedule of LIVESTREAMING ENTERTAINMENT so you can grab a great meal to-go and be entertained from the comfort of your home. And don’t forget to make a donation to Moveable Feast. We’ve set our event fundraising goal at $100,000, and we need your help to get there. Throughout the pandemic, Moveable Feast continued its operations so that our clients had zero interruption in their home-delivered meal services. We’ve only been able to accomplish this thanks to the support from the community.

HIV Awareness & Wellness: Kayla’s Courage

When Moveable Feast began in 1989 in response to the HIV/AIDS epidemic, treatment options were limited, not terribly effective and often costly. As such, it was not uncommon for a person who was diagnosed with HIV to have the disease go unchecked. As the virus replicates, in addition to weakening one’s immune system, it puts a greater demand on the body for calories, protein and other nutrients.
