Virtual Riders

Miles That Matter. Meals That Heal. From Anywhere.

What is a Virtual Rider?

A Virtual Rider is a dedicated fundraiser who supports Moveable Feast without the requirement of cycling the physical route or attending the May 9 th event. Whether you’re pedaling on a stationary bike, walking your local trail, skating, kayaking, gardening, (you name it) or simply sharing your personal fundraising page with friends and family, you are a vital part of the team.

Why Your “Ride” Matters:

Every dollar you raise as a Virtual Rider fuels our “Food Is Medicine” program, providing medically tailored meals to Marylanders facing life-threatening illnesses. And the results speak for themselves: Our meals lead to a 24% reduction in hospitalizations and a 33% reduction in healthcare costs for our clients. Your support as a Virtual Rider helps us move toward feeding more Marylanders across the state, so help us reach our $600,000 event goal to ensure no one has to face illness and food insecurity alone.

How does it work?

Once you sign up as a Ride for the Feast Virtual Rider, you’ll receive access to your personal, customizable fundraising page where you can share your commitment story, update your followers on your journey, and track your fundraising progress. You can even unite your friends or coworkers by starting a Virtual Rider team to participate together.

You can plan your own outdoor ride at any of our four route distances, commit to riding a number of Peloton or other home-based classes, or team up with your favorite indoor cycling studio in support of Ride for the Feast. And for those local to Baltimore and Annapolis, you can even join our special Ride for the Feast classes hosted by our friends at Tribe Cycle!

So, whether you’re local to Maryland or supporting from afar, joining Ride for the Feast has never been easier!
