Koco’s Pub is aptly named after my Dad, “Mr. Koco”. When my parents John and Joanna Kocovinos opened Koco’s Pub back in 1985, we barely even had a kitchen. We served whatever Mom had gone to the store and bought for the day. We sold about 20 Crab Cakes a week back then and cooked them in a small countertop pizza oven. 35 + years later, we now sell well over 1000 crab cakes a week, and are blessed by many loyal customers and friends. Mom and Dad are now retired as is our Scarlet Macaw Parrot, Savannah Jane. My husband Dave retired from the Baltimore Police Department to help me run the Pub. Our dedicated employees have become part of the family, and many of them have been with us for years. Mom and Dad still come in for an occasional visit to make sure that we are doing things just right. On any given day , the Pub is filled with locals as well as “out of towners” celebrating life. Originally begun as a “hole in the wall” bar, Koco’s has evolved into a great, family friendly, neighborhood eating establishment. Now famous for our crab cakes, people come from all over the world to try them out. We hope you enjoy your experience with us at our charming Baltimore pub. Cheers!
