Ride for the Feast 2004
May 22-23, 2004
Ride for the Feast is a two day, 140 mile bike ride from Rehoboth Beach, Delaware into the City of Baltimore. The Ride is self
produced by Moveable and raises money to support our Food and Nutritional programs for Persons Living With HIV/AIDS.
During Ride for the Feast 2003, we made a pledge to have the expenses of the Ride underwritten by Corporate and Individual
Sponsors so that 100% of the money raised by our Riders and Volunteers would go towards supporting the programs here at
Moveable Feast. In 2003, we kept that pledge, and over $81,000 was raised to support these vital programs! In 2004, we
expect to once again keep that pledge - 100% of the money that you raise by participating as a Rider, Volunteer or Donor
will be used for direct services for Persons Living with HIV/AIDS, and not for the cost of producing the event.
We promise to create an event that is exciting, fun and makes a real difference in the lives of persons struggling to
survive. We ask that our Riders commit to raising a minimum of $1,200 in donations in order to participate. While this may
seem like a large sum of money, we will work with you along the way to reach that goal. And if riding 140 miles in two days
seems impossible now, we have training rides that will prepare you for this challange.
We look forward to having you join our fun spirited group of
Riders and Volunteers!
