Dining Out For Life

Dining Out for Life (DOFL) is an annual fundraiser held each fall in conjuction with local restaurants. Now in its 19th year in the Baltimore Metro area, Moveable Feast’s Dining Out for Life event will take place Thursday, September 20, 2012.

How does Dining Out for Life work?

Simply dine out at participating restaurant on September 20, 2012. The restaurant will donate 20-50% of your bill to Moveable Feast, in support of our lifesaving nutritious meal delivery programs. And that is it! No extra money spent on your part – simply dine out to save lives. For a full list of our 2011 participating restaurants, visit www.diningoutforlife.com/baltimore. 2012 restaurants won't be posted until closer to the event; in the meantime, please continue to show support to the restaurants that participated in 2011.

How can I get more involved?

We are searching for enthusiastic volunteers, who we call Ambassadors, to support DOFL. Ambassadors are stationed at their favorite restaurant (given participatory status and availability) to promote Moveable Feast and DOFL – passing out informational materials, speaking with patrons about Moveable Feast’s mission, and working the restaurant to make it a great experience for all. Ambassadors are expected to help populate the restaurant by encouraging friends and family to dine out.
