B'more Aware of HIV: The Living Red Ribbon & the Partnership for Life

The Partnership for Life was formed in 2010 as a joint venture between Moveable Feast, AIDS Interfaith Residential Services (AIRS), and Chase Brexton Health Services to increase awareness of HIV and AIDS in the Baltimore area.

In Baltimore, more than 12,000 residents live with HIV, the city ranks as #5 in the Nation for HIV incidence, and at least 1,200 Baltimore residents will be newly infected this year. These statistics underscore the importance of the Partnership for Life.

In 2011, the Partnership for Life will be partaking in HIV/AIDS awareness events and activities across the region. Join us at Coppin State on Thursday, December 1st from 9am to 3pm for our second annual B'More Aware of HIV: The Living Red Ribbon event.
