Moveable Feast is a 501(c) (3) charitable nutritional support organization that prepares and delivers meals and groceries at no charge to people and their families throughout greater Baltimore and Maryland’s Eastern Shore who are in need and living with HIV/AIDS and other life-challenging conditions. All donations are tax deductible as allowable by law.

Program Requirements

    Home Delivered Meals

  • Client has been diagnosed with CDC defined AIDS, with a history of CD4 count below 200/cmm or an AIDS defining opportunistic illness, or...
  • Client has been diagnosed with symptomatic HIV infection with associated nutritional needs - weight loss etc.

and the following...

  • Client is homebound with weakness, limited mobility, or hand control, which may make meal preparation difficult or dangerous.
  • Client, or designated person, must receive meals daily. (If on three consecutive occasions there is no one to accept the meals, the service will be put on hold. If service is put on hold two times because there was no one to accept deliver, the service will be terminated.)
  • Client has no one to buy or prepare meals routinely.

Meals for a Week

  • Client has been diagnosed with CDC defined AIDS, with a history of CD4 count below 200/cmm or an AIDS defining opportunistic illness, or...
  • Client has been diagnosed with symptomatic HIV infection with associated nutritional needs - weight loss etc.

and the following...

  • While not fully homebound, the client is still in need of extra nutritional support to maintain gains in health and weight or recover from illness.
  • Client is able to heat frozen meals and to do some meal preparation with groceries.
  • Client, or designated person, must receive meals daily. (If on three consecutive occasions there is no one to accept the meals, the service will be put on hold. If service is put on hold two times because there was no one to accept deliver, the service will be terminated.)

Please Note:

  • Services are provided regardless of age, race, gender, sexual orientation, ethnic origin, or religion.
  • Client has the responsibility to contact Moveable Feast at, 410/327-3420, if meals should not delivered for any reason; (hospitalization, doctor or clinic appointment, change of residence for temporary or permanent time frame, etc.)
  • Client reevaluation will occur on a routine basis.
